As Afaq finished his little story, he peered at Sid as though he were looking at a disobedient child. Sid rolled his eyes and looked around the room for another drink. Sid, not wanting to admit he had a temper, shrugged his shoulders and concluded, “Unfortunately I am prisoner to your version of my history.”
“Trust me, you have much anger, but I think I know why you have management anger issues.”
“Oh, really.”
“Yes, you are very mad at your white skin.”
The comment seemed so absurd it caused Sid to chuckle. “And just how did you come to that brilliant conclusion, Sherlock?”
“I have watched you for quite some time now,” Afaq said, pointing at Sid. “You have an addictive habit of dating women only with darker skin. You are trying to immerse yourself into people with better skin color. ”
“Really?”
“Yes. Your last girlfriend was Mexican, correct?”
“You keep asking me questions when you know I have no memory,” Sid replied with disdain.
“Yes. Since we have known each other, you have also dated a Persian girl, a Dominican girl and a Brazilian girl. All these women had the same wonderful trait; very nice beautiful dark skin.”

“The way your mind works amazes me,” Sid said. “You are like a new age prophet who got high on crack and had shock treatment each time he starts to speak.”
“Yes, I am a very innovative thinker. You stay right here and relax for a few minutes,” Afaq assured him. “I will handle the donations on my own for a little while.”
Afaq stood, pressed his clothes with one hand, spit in his other hand and smoothed his hair with it. He gazed at his reflection in the pane of glass behind their table. Afaq was pleased with his appearance. After looking from side to side, Afaq then flagged down an American woman casually strolling into the lounge.
As he approached, he introduced himself. “Hello, my name is Afaq.”
“Ah what?” replied the woman.
Sid laughed to himself at the scene. Although Afaq had emphasized the criticality of their activities, the comedic failures made it difficult for Sid consider the situation in a serious manner. Instead he focused on trying to regain his strength.
“I wonder how much crap Afaq is feeding me.” Sid mumbled to himself. “I can’t believe a word he is saying such things. I mean I’m addicted to dark skin woman. That’s crazy.”
As Sid put his head back, a young woman tapped him on the shoulder. “Excuse me sir, are you finished with this glass.”
Sid smiled as he absorbed her alluring features as she picked up the empty glass and placed in on a circular tray. As
